Here is the list of playable races and their modifications:
Human: A normal human has no stat modifications. Humans can be found all over the face of Eberron.
Elf: Elves, also found in almost every nation, are graceful and deadly, but at the same time they are somewhat frail. Elves receive +1 to skill or agility but -1 to stamina.
Dwarf: Dwarves are short, stocky, and proud, but tend to be somewhat slow physically and mentally. Dwarves receive +1 to skill and stamina but -1 to agility and magic.
Warforged: Created to be soldiers, Warforged receive +1 to skill, stamina, and agility but -3 to magic.
Changeling: The ultimate spies, changelings are descendants of doppelgangers and have no adjustments to their statistics, but they are capable of taking the shape of any humanoid, including a specific individual, mimicking their appearance, voice, and even a bit of their personality in the process.
Ash Cats: Creatures which seem to be a hybrid between humans and cheetahs, Ash cats have bright orange fur with spots that are both red and black in the pattern of those spots found on cheetahs. They receive +1 to magic, +1 to agility, -1 to skill, and -2 to stamina. Ash cats also have the special ability of being able to create flares of fire at +1 to their magic roll. Ash cats also gain an immunity to fire.
However, Ash Cats also have a disadvantage if they are entirely submerged in water or if water is thrown onto them in such a way that their pelt is saturated with it. They then receive -1 to all stats (after normal modifications) and lose their ability to create flares until they are completely dry.
